Liebherr premieres at the China International Diesel Engine Summit in Beijing and features its competence in the design, development and construction of combustion engines and injection systems.
Our current combustion engines portfolio comprises diesel engines that cover a power range from 130 kW to 4,500 kW, and gas engines ranging between 145 kW and 1,070 kW. At the exhibition stand, Liebherr presents its oil and gas engine D9620 for well servicing.
The engine on display features a 20-cylinder architecture and is rated up to 2500 hp at 1900 rpm. It is designed to meet the most demanding customer requirements and withstands the toughest working conditions, while being easy to maintain. Thanks to its low weight, the D9620 offers one of the highest power-to-weight ratio in class. It also meets all technical requirements for pressure pumping applications.
In the spotlight of the show are also common rail systems for engines of up to six litres capacity and 290 kW per cylinder. The newly developed LI1 injector platform on display impresses with its slim, compact design and flexible connection dimensions.
Furthermore, at the summit, Liebherr features its modular common rail solutions for future combustion engines. The intelligent design and flexible interfaces enable not only simple adaptation of the robust single components to specific engine designs, but also their free combination with each other. Decades of experience in the development and production of diesel engines guarantee the highest performance and reliability of injection systems over a long service life. This experience allows a more focused view of future requirements, as well. Thanks to smart closed-loop control technology and particularly high flow rates, our injection systems are already suitable for the use of synthetic fuels, for example.
